A hot topic at our last meeting was who to send letters to when we have something we want to say about Hinchingbrooke.
Whether the Traffic is getting out of hand, you have concerns about the HInchingbrooke Logistics Park, or whether you’d like to make your view known about the Local Draft Plan, writing a letter is an effective way to do it.

How to Write
Write what matters to you. Each and every resident has their own views on proposed developments, and problems and opportunities facing the estate today.
Use your story. Some of the most memorable and effective views shared are personal stories, that outline how an issue manifests in the daily lives of residents. If traffic stops you getting home in time to see your kids, or if the ambulance you were waiting for got held up, this insights are critical to helping non-residents understand what’s going on where we live.
Lastly remember that the people you are emailing are people. No matter how frustrated we are, the best outcome for all can only be achieved through collaboration and a mutual respect, working towards the solution we want. Aggression, name calling, and profanity puts a wedge between us and our representatives that makes getting the right result that much harder.
