The provisional opening date for the new hospital is late 2032 to early 2033.  This will be firmed up once the contractor has been identified.

Discussions between the hospital and the police are taking place about the hospital acquiring the land between Views Common Road and the hospital.

If the above discussions are successful, the hospital intend putting a car park on that land. The car park would be accessed from Views Common Road.

It is hoped that agreement will be reached over that land in the first half of 2026.
