Uniting Hinchingbrooke Residents for a Stronger Community

Hinchingbrooke Residents Association is dedicated to fostering community spirit by informing and empowering residents through awareness of local planning, council decisions and other issues affecting our estate.
Our volunteer group has 5 key objectives:

  1. Represent and to promote the interests of all residents living in our area.
  2. Foster community involvement
  3. Act as a point of contact and a source of news and information for the local area
  4. Build community spirit and help residents to get to know each other better, gaining trust and working together to find solutions to improve the neighbourhood
  5. Ensure that members are consulted regularly and that all residents eligible for membership are encouraged to join

Building a Stronger Hinchingbrooke Community Together

Meet the dedicated volunteers driving our initiatives.

John Greenhalgh

Chairman

John is a retired accountant, and has lived in Hinchingbrooke since 2001. He’s been Treasurer of the Friends of Hinchingbrooke Country Park since 2022, and was formerly Treasurer of Deafblind UK for 9 years.

John loves living close to Hinchingbrooke Country Park and hopes to spend his retirement seeing friends more often and visiting new places.

John has seen the frequency of traffic issues on the Hinchingbrooke estate increase over the years. As he has more free time available now, he feels that he has to try to get decision makers to realise how residents’ daily lives are
impacted by the unacceptable congestion on Hinchingbrooke Park Road.

Deborah Drew

Secretary

Sarah Palios

Treasurer

Sarah is a retired accountant and moved to Hinchingbrooke in 2019. She trained as a Chartered Accountant and has since moved into general management roles within the Marketing and Healthcare sectors.

Not wishing to age gracefully, she recently obtained her UK Private Pilot’s Licence. A mother of 4 and grandmother, she still finds time to engage in all year round wild water swimming with hardy friends.

Joe Corrall

IT Officer

Joe works in Software as a Department Head, and has lived in Huntingdonshire all his life, moving to Hinchingbrooke in 2021.

Joe was motivated by the increasing traffic problems on the estate, and the news of the proposed Hinchingbrooke Logistics Park to get involved, and offer what he can to help make the decisions being made about the estate visible to everyone.
